Goals & Objectives

Our  Business Plan contains the following goals and objectives:

  • Neighbourhood Work:
    • Employment of a CDW in Hei Hei Broomfield to work alongside the community to develop their responses to their stated aspirations and goals
    • Employment of a CDW in Addington to work alongside the community to develop their responses to their stated aspirations and goals
    • Employment of a FCDW in Sydenham to work alongside the community to develop their responses to their stated aspirations and goals
    • Employment of a CDW in Linwood to work alongside the community to develop their responses to their stated aspirations and goals
  • Linwood Mens’ Projects:
    • To further the development of the Linwood Men’s Shed in which context men of diverse backgrounds can come together to share skills, participate in joint projects that benefit the wider community and access support to meet felt needs
    • To promote the findings and recommendations of the Linwood Men’s Research Project to relevant local and regional organisations and to facilitate the recommendations that fall within the scope of the position of Men’s CDW  at the Linwood Resource Centre
  • Partnership Community Health Workers:
    • Services to Improve Access to Primary Health Care
  • Funding:
    • To meet funding requirements as set out in the budget
  • Health and Safety:
    • To meet Health and Safety Requirements
  • Governance Monitoring:
    • To meet Anglican Care Trust Board Reporting requirements
  • Divisional Committee:
    • To continue the good working relationship with the Divisional Committee
  • Administration:
    • To ensure that our administration Officer has the systems and resources needed for ACCD to operate efficiently and effectively
  • Parish Work:
    • To take a pro-active approach with parishes; offering information and support with community development
  • Spiritual Direction:
    • To enable staff’s response to people’s need for spiritual direction
  • Partnership and Collaboration:
    • Develop and foster ongoing relationships with other organisations
  • To meet all HR requirements:
    • That Community Development Workers, [CDW]Family Community Development Workers,[FCDW] ,Partnership Community Health Workers[PCW], Administration and Management workers are competent, effective and supported in their work.
